The hair bead slyder is a tool used to apply beads to braided or twisted hair. I invented this tool many years ago, and I've sold hundreds of them. It is straight-forward to use. If you are the braider or hair designer then have the customer ( Adult or Child to bead the slyder in whatever color, pattern or design they'd like to see on their braids. They can do as many as you need therefore once you have completed the hairstyle, all you need to do is slide the beads onto the hair and secure the end with a small rubber band. Switch up the bead designs and colors for different outfits, holidays such as Christmas, the 4th of July, Family reunions, Twin day,  Halloween, etc... Have fun with it.
 
Step by step Instructions:
 
1. After all the beads have been added to slyder, leave about a 1 1/2" at the top opening.
2. Take the end of the braid (the tip) insert it in the 1 1/2 inch opening and fold the end of the hair up over the string holding with your index finger and thumb of the opposite hand.
3. Push the number of beads upward onto the braid, pull the last bead down leaving a small piece of hair hanging from the last bead; take that piece up over the (last bead) holding it with your thumb and index finger then secure with a small rubber band by wrapping it around it.
Repeat this process until you've completed all of the braids.

The video shows step by step, the part in the video that shows me putting one bead on by hand is just to demonstrate how hard; eye-straining and time-consuming this could be. The slyder makes it much faster. The kids love it because it keeps them busy while you're doing their hair. I always have a total of 6 or 7 slyders ready to go and I am done in half the time.
